Chatterton School welcomed Islanders players Johnny Boychuk, Jordan Eberle and Nick Leddy for a special discussion about teamwork on Monday, Nov. 19.

To secure the Islanders visit to their school, sixth-grade students Isabella Rohr, Emerson Kalman and Katie Salvatore wrote an essay to the team, detailing all of the ways in which Chatterton students help the greater community throughout the year. “We do this through student council activities, our participation in Red Ribbon week and our Green Team,” said the students in their essay. “We are always happy to help those who need us and are overjoyed to work together year-round.”

While at Chatterton, the Islanders players graciously answered questions and signed autographs for the students, many of whom proclaimed their team spirit by wearing Islanders attire.
