Fifth grade students at Chatterton School recently took a trip to the Merrick Public Library to learn all about the resources it has to offer. Susan Goodwin, head of the children’s department, provided an overview of library resources and services, including how to log in and check out items using the library’s automated system. Students also had the opportunity to play Book Bingo. Every student received a library card.

Special thanks to the Merrick Public Library for hosting the fifth graders! For more information about the library, check out its website: https://merricklibrary.org/.
