All year long, soldiers risk their lives for our country. Instead of being with their families for the holidays like us, they must stay where they are stationed. We think it is very important to give back with to them by donating some of over Halloween candy. The Lakeside Lions have collected 34 HUGE boxes of candy. That’s crazy! We worked with Scoop Ice Cream in Malverne NY, and the Elks Lodge in Seaford. We would like to give a big thank you to the men and women who risk their lives every day for our FREEDOM, and to everyone who donated candy during this drive.
