Author Gae Polisner presented her book, “Consider the Octopus”to upper grade classes to conclude Birch’s Dive into Reading PARP [Pick a Reading Partner] weeks.

“Students were enthralled by Ms. Polisner's discussion about this funny, fictional story that includes fascinating facts about the state of the world's oceans,” stated School Librarian Vanessa Schroeder.
